Anyway, I do not know if I repeat myself, (I write this from the iphone as if it were one of those Japanese who write novels on mobile from the metro) there are book recommendations:
The brothel of the Gypsies, Mircea Eliade, not recommended. The ideas are very interesting, even precursors, but the narrative performance does not convince me it is as if the characters and the story did not contribute nothing, instead of generating the story ... And that their trials seemed really bright and inspiring when I read in college (the myth of eternal return, the sacred and the profane) ...
Hopes and realities, Noam Chomsky, cool, almost indispensable as a deconstruction of the origin of much of the current ills of the world where neoliberal policies and state terrorism of Reagan and Thatcher in the eighties. I strongly recommend reading it while the atlas of Le Monde Diplomatique, and the threats of the rule book, Chalmers Johnson, all highly recommended.
An evening of dogs, Hugh Laurie (actor House, is also a musician, I believe).
I love the cynicism that exudes first-person narrative of the quasi-anti-hero protagonist ... And quite often surprising history, extending the initial approach sounded like a very classic cut novel 'Black', which is very valid.
